Nonduality

Connections between things often treated as separate, approached through cultural knowledge, mathematics, physics and contemplative traditions.

Nonduality considers where a distinction is useful and where it may become misleading. The selection ranges from Jukurrpa and Indra’s Net to an equation and a particle. These are not fragments of one hidden scientific theory. They offer different accounts of relationship, continuity and the limits of ordinary categories, each with its own context and standards of understanding.

01

Knowledge within a tradition

Jukurrpa, Om and Indra’s Net require more than a universal slogan about oneness. Begin with the communities, practices and accounts through which their meanings are transmitted.

02

Relations that can be modelled

An eclipse, mass–energy equivalence and the Higgs boson concern distinct physical questions. Their inclusion makes room for comparison without turning physics into proof of a spiritual position.
