• You must use the Services lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, probe, or bypass security or rate limits.
• You are responsible for the content you submit, including ensuring you have the right to submit it.

The Services may include an optional AI assistant (“Archivist”) that helps answer questions about the site, artifacts, and collections. Archivist responses are generated using third-party AI services (OpenAI).

• No secrets: Do not submit passwords, API keys, private keys, seed phrases, or other sensitive information to Archivist. If you do, that content may be processed by OpenAI to generate a response.
• Accuracy: AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on Archivist for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
• Availability: We may change, rate-limit, or discontinue Archivist at any time.

If you purchase products through the Services, payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe). Additional purchase, shipping, and return terms may apply at checkout and/or in the Help Center.

The Services and all content provided by The Human Archives (including text, images, designs, and UI) are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content except where permitted by law or with our written permission.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Services, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Human Archives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
